Green Cameroon is beginning a new chapter with the introduction of a new visual identity designed to better reflect who we are, the communities we work with, and our connection to the environments we seek to protect.
Our work brings together environmental conservation, community development, and education. These areas are deeply connected, and our new identity was created to communicate this relationship more clearly. Rather than representing these elements separately, the new visual language brings them together through a shared idea: People. Territory. Nature.

At the center of the new identity is our new symbol. Its form was developed around the relationship between nature, territory, and people. Organic lines reference landscapes and natural flows, while the central form suggests growth, life, and regeneration. Abstract human forms represent community and collective action.
Together, these elements create a single visual system. The symbol is intended to communicate the idea that environmental action does not exist in isolation. The health of our ecosystems is connected to the people who live within them, the territories they depend on, and the collective actions that shape their future.
This idea of connection also led to three principles that guide the new identity: Rooted. Collective. Regenerative.
To be Rooted means being connected to place, to the landscapes, communities, and natural resources that define the environments in which we work. To be Collective means recognizing that meaningful environmental action is driven by people, collaboration, education, and shared knowledge. And to be Regenerative means looking beyond conservation alone, working toward restoration, resilience, and a future in which communities and ecosystems can continue to thrive.
The visual system extends these principles beyond the symbol itself. The color palette, typography, imagery, and graphic elements were developed to create a consistent language that can be used across Green Cameroon’s digital, institutional, and community communications.

The color palette is particularly connected to our relationship with the natural environment. The two shades of green reflect Green Cameroon’s environmental mission and the rich vegetation of Cameroon. Warm white introduces balance and versatility, while the dark earth tone reflects the depth of Cameroon’s soils and its connection to the landscape.
Photography and visual textures further reinforce this relationship with place. Natural materials, landscapes, communities, and the details found within ecosystems become part of the visual language rather than simply serving as decoration. The intention is to create communication that feels grounded in the environments and people at the heart of Green Cameroon’s work.
Ultimately, this redesign is not about changing what Green Cameroon stands for. It is about creating a clearer and more recognizable way to communicate it.
The identity may be new, but the commitment behind it remains the same: to work with people, protect and understand the environments we share, and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.
A new visual identity. The same commitment.
Welcome to the new Green Cameroon.
