Global Giving Challenge

GlobalGiving December Challenge is Here!!Partners in Community Development 2

We need YOUR help to get 40 unique donors to give $5,000 in 4 weeks!

As we mentioned in out last news letter, we have been accepted to be part of the GlobalGiving December Open Challenge! GlobalGiving is a charity fundraising web site that gives social entrepreneurs and non-profits from anywhere in the world a chance to raise the money that they need to improve their communities. They connect “good idea people” (ie: Green Cameroon) with the “generous giver people” (ie: you and your friends/family) and help projects of all sizes receive donations of all sizes. This is a HUGE opportunity for Green Cameroon to expand their donor platform and potentially fund vital projects. But there is one thing…we need your help!! If you like the work that Green Cameroon has done in the past, NOW is the time to act and show your support! As you may know, Green Cameroon is proud to be working on several projects at the moment (all which you can find on our website) but as part of the challenge, we had to focus on one specific project for funding.

We’ve chosen to fund our Green Orphanage Project found at http://goto.gg/15357.
*This project has to raise $5,000 from 40 donors by December 30, 11:59 PM EDT to earn a permanent spot on GlobalGiving.

Here is how it works: Click the Green Orphanage Project link http://goto.gg/15357 and read all about the project. On the right side of the screen you can select different amounts to donate (tax-deductible) with your credit card, pay pal or gift card. If you opt to do a reoccurring monthly donation, an anonymous donor will be matching your donation! Once you’ve donated please be sure to share the link with you friends and family via email, facebook, twitter and any other means.

As always, thank you for your support as we continue to fight for environmental conservation and sustainable development.
